The Brazilian Summer Sessions
Since last year, the Brazilian Summer Sessions created by A Hora do Brasil Foundation, has been seducing Amsterdam during the sunny Summer days. The program combines great authentic Brazilian music with a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere.The first concert of 2008, featuring Beirão & Os Filhos de Dona Nereide has shaken the Bimhuis last June. The upcoming concert, with new samba star Mart’nália, is promising to become a topmost happening of the musical Summer 2008 in Amsterdam. In September, closing the Sessions of 2008, Lazzo Matumbi will sing the voice and lament of Bahia to the Amsterdam's music lovers.
